AMVCA 2025: Full list of nominees unveiled

The organizers of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have officially unveiled the nominees for the highly anticipated 2025 edition.
The annual event, which celebrates excellence in African filmmaking, acting, and content creation, recognizes outstanding talents who have made remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry over the past year.
Among this year’s top contenders are Adedimeji Lateef, Uzor Arukwe, and Chioma Chukwuka, who secured nominations in major acting categories.
Adedimeji Lateef received a Best Lead Actor nomination for his performance in Lisabi: The Uprising, while Uzor Arukwe was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Suspicion.
Chioma Chukwuka also earned a spot in the Best Lead Actress category for her performance in Seven Doors.
