ADP chairman claims northerners are angry with Tinubu

The National Chairman of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Yabagi Sani, has claimed that many northerners are frustrated with President Bola Tinubu due to what he described as “unprecedented poverty” in the region since Tinubu assumed office 22 months ago.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm on Tuesday, Sani stated that the worsening economic hardship has fueled resentment towards the president, with some of the anger being redirected to his son, Seyi Tinubu.
He noted that Seyi’s philanthropic efforts, which should ordinarily be appreciated, have instead attracted backlash from certain northern figures who see them as a reminder of the administration’s failures.
