FG speaks on ambassadorial list

Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Nigerians to ignore a fake list of ambassadorial nominees circulating on social media.
This was disclosed in a recent statement, made by the Acting Spokesperson for the Ministry, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa.
He clarified that the appointment of ambassadors falls solely under the authority of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and no official nominations have been made.
The statement further read, “Please disregard the speculation surrounding the ambassadorial list. Rest assured, when the list is ready, Mr. President will submit it to the National Assembly for screening and confirmation.”
The Ministry assured the public that once the official list is ready, Nigerians will be informed through the right channels.
