Aina names Ronaldo toughest opponent

Ola Aina, the Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest wing-back named the toughest opponent he had ever encounter during his eminent career and his answer may not come as a surprise.
Shared by Nottingham Forest’s social media page, Aina made this revolution during a quick-fire question session.
The Nigerian international was asked several questions and one of them was the player that he dreaded most as a defender.
When asked the toughest player he has ever faced, without much hesitation, he said, “Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The Nigerian and the Portuguese players came up against each other during their time in the Italian Serie A.
Aina was at Torino while Ronaldo was with Juventus during the time, which made them city rivals.
The Nigerian joined Torino in 2018 from Chelsea on a loan deal before making a permanent move in 2019, which coincided with Ronaldo’s move to Serie A from Real Madrid.
Ronaldo came out on top in the contest with the Nigerian; he scored three goals in four meetings.
Although both players returned to the Premier League—Ronaldo with Manchester United and Aina with Forest—their paths never crossed as the Portuguese left Old Trafford early.
The Nottingham Forest utility player was asked other questions, but another one that caught fans’ attention was when asked about the best footballer he played with in his career.
“I wouldn’t say the best, but I’ll probably put Eden Hazard.”
The former Belgian, Aina played alongside international during his time with his boyhood club, Chelsea.
The 27-year-old has made 20 Premier League appearances so far this season, providing one assist and one goal.
