Endrick has joined Real Madrid’s training camp in the United States to continue his recovery.

The Brazilian forward linked up with the squad on Saturday in Palm Beach, Florida, as coach Xabi Alonso granted his players a day off ahead of Tuesday’s Club World Cup last 16 clash against Juventus.

Real Madrid shared footage of Endrick’s arrival at the team hotel, showing the youngster greeting Alonso and teammates including Vinicius, Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham. Saturday not only marked Endrick’s arrival, but also a rest day for the squad, with no training session scheduled.

Sidelined since 18 May with a hamstring tendon injury in his right leg, Endrick travelled from Madrid, where he had been completing his rehabilitation.

Despite still being unavailable for selection, club sources told EFE that Endrick will finalise his recovery in the United States as part of the team’s preparations for the Club World Cup.

Alonso is keen to involve the Brazilian striker in the group as soon as possible. After undergoing medical checks and being closely monitored, Endrick is expected to gradually rejoin full training over the coming week.

The match against Juventus will take place at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. For that fixture, Alonso will have Raul Asencio available again following suspension, while Mbappe is also expected to return after missing out due to a virus that even required hospital treatment.
