Phone snatchers reportedly kill Nigerian soldier

A Nigerian soldier, Lt. IM Abubakar has reportedly been killed by a phone snatchers in Kaduna State.

The incident which occurred in the Unguwan Sarki area of the state.

This was made known by Zagazola Makama, a Lake Chad Basin counterterrorism and insurgency expert, in a post on his X handle on Wednesday.

Makama, who described the incident as a sad one, said Abubakar was a talented officer.

He wrote: “Sad. “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) a young talented army officer was killed by phone snatchers on his way home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna.

“May his soul rest in peace”
