Amorim eyes former Man United star

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, is considering a move for Sporting Lisbon winger Francisco Trincao as the club look to strengthen their attacking options this summer.
With Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford expected to depart permanently following their loan spells, the Red Devils are prioritising reinforcements in wide areas.
Trincao, who was a key player for Amorim at Sporting, has emerged as a leading target, with United reportedly prepared to meet his £35 million valuation. The 25-year-old, who played a pivotal role in Portugal’s 5-2 victory over Denmark in the Nations League, is no stranger to English football, having previously spent a season on loan at Wolves.
Manchester United are not the only club monitoring his situation, with Arsenal and Newcastle also expressing interest. However, Barcelona could yet complicate any potential deal as they hold a buy-back clause of just over £20 million.
Amorim, who played a key role in the player’s development at Sporting, hopes their strong relationship could tip the scales in his current club’s favour should a bidding war arise.
