APC youths endorse Nicholas Ukachukwu for Anambra governorship race

The APC Youths Progressive Forum has thrown its weight behind Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, endorsing him as the best candidate to secure the party’s ticket for the November 2025 Anambra State governorship election.

Speaking at a press conference held in Abuja on March 24, 2024, the forum’s chairman, Ambassador Sani Mohammed, emphasized the need for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to make a strategic decision in the forthcoming election by fielding a credible and capable candidate. He stated that Ukachukwu possesses the leadership qualities, political experience, and grassroots support required to lead Anambra State toward progress.

Highlighting Ukachukwu’s track record, the APC Youths Progressive Forum described him as a seasoned politician with a history of effective leadership, having served as Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) and as a member of the House of Representatives for Orumba North/South Federal Constituency in Anambra State.

His contributions to youth empowerment, philanthropy, and infrastructural development were also cited as key reasons for his endorsement. According to the forum, Ukachukwu’s vision for Anambra includes boosting agriculture, improving healthcare, enhancing education, strengthening security, and advancing infrastructure—goals that align with the aspirations of the state’s young population.

The APC Youths Progressive Forum stressed that Ukachukwu’s leadership style is inclusive and his commitment to party unity is evident. He has continuously worked across political lines to foster development in Anambra, making him a formidable candidate who can secure victory for APC.

While acknowledging other aspirants in the race, the forum insisted that Ukachukwu remains the best option to return Anambra to APC’s fold and align the state with the ruling party at the national level.

The group urged all APC stakeholders, including party leaders, delegates, and members, to rally behind Ukachukwu’s candidacy, emphasizing that his leadership would usher in a new era of prosperity for Anambra State.
