Breaking: APC asks Tinubu to declare State of Emergency in Rivers

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers has asked President Ahmed Tinubu to declare a State of emergency in the state.
The call according to the party is to put end to killings and crisis in the state.
Rivers APC Caretaker Committee Chairman(CTC) Tony Okocha made the call shortly after the swearing in of 23 CTC Chairman by Governor Siminialayi Fubara on Wednesday.
The party also distanced itself from a statement credited to the former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi that 84 percent of Nigerians will not vote for Tinubu in 2027.
