Breaking: Atiku’s men, El-rufai, Al-Mustapha, others meet SDP leaders ahead 2027

Ahead of the 2027 general election, opposition figures, including some prominent APC leaders are strategising to defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

To this end, a strategic meeting was held early Tuesday at the national secretariat of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Confirming the development, Segun Showunmi, a former spokesman of Atiku Abubakar, wrote on his Facebook page about the meeting.

Showunmi said: “You must set forth at Dawn!

“A Strategic Meeting Called by HE Shehu Gabam Chairman of SDP with HE Nasir El-Rufai, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, Otunba Segun Showunmi The Alternative to meet and greet and review the state of opposition democratic engagement in Nigeria.”
