Breaking: Ganduje bounces back, inaugurated FAAN’s board chairman

The immidiate-past National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has bounced back into the public service has he has just been inaugurated as the Chairman, board of the Federal Airport of Nigeria (FAAN).

 

Ganduje, who was recently resigned as the National Chairman of these ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on health ground is expected to bring on board his wealth of experience into the service of the Nation in Aviation sector.

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had, earlier in the year, appointed Dr. Ganduje as the FAAN’s board chairman.

 

The inauguration, which took place at the Federal Ministry of Aviation, headed by Barrister Festus Keyamo, had many prominent politicians across the country on Ganduje’s entourage.

 

In Ganduje’s entourage was Senator Kawu Samaila, APC Kano State Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, Managing Director of Hadeja Jamare Development Authority, Alhaji Suleman Bichi, Executive Director, Technical Services, Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Engr. Umar Abdullahi Umar, former Kano State Commissioner for Information, Mohammed Garba and many dignitaries.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, expressed confidence that Ganduje and other members of the board will have what it take to move the sector forward.

 

He urged them to work towards enhancing the security of the Airport, enhancing passangers experience, among others.

 

“As you embark on this taste, remember that the eyes of the Nation are upon you,” Keyamo said.
