Popular social media commentator, VeryDarkMan, has been released from detention, according to a breaking update shared by Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut.
In a post that has quickly gone viral, Tunde Ednut shared a smiling photo of VeryDarkMan with a bold headline that read: “BREAKING: VeryDarkMan has been released.” The caption urged fans to flood the comment section with power emojis in support of the outspoken activist.
“Thank you to all the people that showed love to VDM. He’s out!” the post read, with thousands already reacting to the news within minutes of it going live.
VeryDarkMan, known for his fiery takes on corruption, injustice, and trending issues, had earlier been arrested following his online protest over unauthorized deductions from his mother’s bank account. His detention sparked massive reactions online, with many netizens demanding his immediate release and questioning the basis of his arrest.
Tunde Ednut’s confirmation of his release has been met with overwhelming excitement from fans and supporters, many of whom had rallied online in solidarity using the hashtag #FreeVeryDarkMan.
