Galatasaray speak on possibility of permanent deal for Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray General Secretary, Eray Yazgan, has sparked speculation about a potential permanent move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, hinting that the club is open to making his stay beyond this season—if the conditions are favourable.
Osimhen, who arrived at the Turkish giants on a season-long loan from Serie A side Napoli last September, has become a key figure in the squad. Despite growing interest from top European clubs, Galatasaray appears keen to explore a long-term arrangement.
Speaking to HT Spor, Yazgan said:
“First of all, let’s all enjoy watching a player like Victor Osimhen in the Super League this year. Then, if the conditions are right for both our club and the player, it can happen.”
He emphasized that discussions about Osimhen’s future would only take place after the current campaign.
“This is not the subject of today. Our sole concentration right now—Victor Osimhen’s and all the other players’—is to complete the season with two trophies, the league and the cup. The rest is just details,” he added.
Osimhen’s performance in Turkey has not gone unnoticed, and with Galatasaray eyeing domestic silverware, fans are hopeful the club can find a way to keep the prolific striker in Istanbul beyond the summer.
