Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has shared his thoughts on the controversial issue of actresses engaging in intimate relationships to secure movie roles.

Speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, Kosoko revealed that he is aware of several prominent actresses who entered the industry with the belief that sleeping with influential figures would fast-track their rise to fame.

In a surprising revelation, the seasoned actor also claimed to know a magistrate involved in such practices. He expressed strong disapproval of the trend, emphasizing that true talent should be the determining factor for success in Nollywood.

“I know some ladies who joined the industry with the mindset that by the time they sleep with certain people, they will make a name for themselves,” he stated.
