In a statement released Thursday in Abuja, signed by the NCoS spokesman, Abubakar Danlami Umar, said while decorating some of them alongside other newly appointed DCGs from other Services under the Ministry at the Nigerian Immigration Service National Headquarters in Abuja, Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo tasked the new DCGs to support their principals in providing efficient management in their various Services.
The minister further urged them to be innovative and bring their experiences and professionalism to bare so as to improve efficiency and provide effective leadership that will translate into good governance in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“The Honourable Minister mentioned that since the inception of the current administration, promotion exercises in the various Services under the Ministry have been regular and released within the stipulated year of promotion, a departure from the past where promotion exercises spill into the succeeding year.
