Reaction as NYSC Corps member received ₦777K instead of ₦77K allowance

A Nigerian youth corps member has sparked reactions online after claiming she received ₦777,000 instead of the usual ₦77,000 monthly allowance from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
In a video shared on social media, the corps member expressed shock over the unexpected bank alert and voiced her intention to report the matter to relevant authorities.
According to her, she woke up, checked her phone, and was stunned to see the excess payment credited to her account. Fearing potential accusations, she disclosed plans to visit her bank, the police station, and her Local Government Inspector (LGI) to ensure transparency.
“I received an alert of ₦777K instead of the ₦77K they’re paying others. My own 7 is three. I’m going to the police station to report, I’ll also visit my LGI office and inform my bank before I get accused of not raising an alarm,” she stated.
Her revelation has since stirred reactions online, with netizens flooding the comment section to weigh in on the unusual financial discrepancy.
