Time will come to think about final against Real Madrid – Hansi Flick

Barcelona’s German coach Hansi Flick, did not want to talk yet about the clash against Real Madrid in the final of the Copa del Rey and gave more importance to their next La Liga match against Real Betis.
Hansi Flick said on Wednesday, after eliminating Atletico Madrid and qualifying for the final of the Copa del Rey against Real Madrid, that he is not thinking about that game, but about next Saturday’s game against Betis in La Liga.
“It has not been easy to win this game or the tie against Atletico. They are a great team and has very good players. It’s great news to play in the final, but I’m not thinking about that game against Real Madrid, but about the next one against Betis,” explained the ‘Cules’ coach at a press conference.
“We are very pleased and happy to have won. We are in a good dynamic and I am always positive, but the time will come to think about the final against Real Madrid. We must not lose our concentration. We have to keep working and training with our minds always on the next game,” he added.
The Barcelona coach insisted that “it was not easy to win”, despite the great first half played by his team. “We beat a great team with great players,” he added.
The coach praised the performance of his players Frenkie de Jong and Pedri: “They played a fantastic game tonight. They played very well on the ball and managed to keep possession.
Asked again about the future and the chances of capping off a great season, Flick indicated that he lives the “now and here”.
“I’m not thinking about the final, I’m only thinking about Betis, which is the next game. We are in a good moment, but I have the experience that in soccer everything can change at any moment. We have to stay focused. Dreaming is allowed, but we have to work very hard and we have to stay focused in order to win titles. The ‘Clasico’ is not important now,” he said.
On the good moment of Ferran Torres, scorer of Barcelona’s winning goal at the Metropolitano, Flick highlighted: “I’m happy with Ferran and Lewandowski. I’m happy that they are scoring goals.
