UNIABUJA gets new acting registrar, Adakayi

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Abuja, Dr. Olanrewaju Tejuoso, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Roseline Adakayi as the acting Registrar of the institution.
This appointment is pending the selection of a substantive registrar.
The announcement was made in a statement by the Acting Director of Information and University Relations, Dr. Habib Yakoob. According to the statement, the letter of appointment, signed by the acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patricia Manko Lar, specifies that Mrs. Adakayi will serve for a period of six months, effective from Monday, 12 May 2025.
Mrs. Adakayi succeeds Mrs. Islamiya Foyeke Abdulraheem, whose six-month tenure as acting registrar concluded on 12 May 2025.
