The moment, which was filled with gratitude and praise, has sparked mixed reactions from netizens, with many questioning the pastor’s association with political figures.

The controversy arose as some critics accused Pastor Eze of giving a platform to a politician they believe was involved in electoral malpractice. A widely circulated comment online read, “Pastors with the urge to feed from politicians will never be a surprise to me. Pastor Jerry Eze and his church are praising God with a politician that openly rigged an election in Edo State. Whatever happened to ‘Men of God’ speaking truth to power?
