VIDEO: Over 6,000 inmates escape maximum security facility

A dramatic mass prison break in Maputo, Mozambique, has left authorities scrambling after more than 6,000 prisoners escaped from a maximum-security facility.
Reports indicate that the inmates overpowered the prison guards in a well-coordinated operation, seizing their AK-47 rifles in the process. The incident, which occurred under unclear circumstances, has raised questions about the prison’s security protocols.
Sources suggest that the guards were caught off guard, allowing the prisoners to overpower them and gain access to weapons. Once armed, the inmates dismantled the barriers and fled the premises en masse, causing panic in surrounding communities.
