VIDEO: Popular media personality queues behind 2face amid divorce saga

Media personality Tosin Silverdam has created social media storm about the tendency to blame men when marriages hit the rocks, following the backlash 2Face Idibia received after announcing his divorce from Annie Idibia.
The announcement came amidst ongoing scrutiny of the celebrity couple’s relationship, amplified by their appearances on the reality show Young, Rich and Famous. During the show, the couple faced ridicule over their marital struggles, and 2Face’s disclosure that he and Annie had been separated for a while, with divorce proceedings already underway, drew harsh criticism from the public.
Reacting to the uproar, Tosin Silverdam questioned the societal double standards in assigning blame. He argued that men are often unfairly vilified when relationships fail, pointing out that Annie would have likely received applause and support had she been the one to announce the divorce first.
He particularly called out celebrities like Toke Makinwa, accusing them of hypocrisy in their commentary on the situation.
“Why are they blaming the men? Toke Makinwa and others are already blaming 2Face for his marriage separation and announcement,” Tosin wrote. “What if Annie Idibia had announced it first? They would support her and give her kudos.”
