Breaking: Minimum wage committee begins closed-door meeting

Members of the new minimum wage tripartite committee are currently in a closed-door meeting.
Their meeting on Friday is seeking for favorable ground for the federal government and the organised labour in their quest to come up with a new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
The closed-door meeting is taking place at the Nicon Luxury Hotel and includes key committee members: the Director General of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), the Minister of Labour and Employment (State) Nkiruka Onyejeocha, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, a representative from the Salaries, Income, and Wages Commission, Minister of Finance Wale Edun, and Minister of Budget and National Planning Atiku Bagudu.
