Phillip Shaibu hails Osimhen for apologizing to Finidi

The Former Deputy Governor of Edo state, Comrade Philip Shaibu has commended the Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen for taking the bold step in apologizing to Coach Finidi George over his social media outburst recently.
Shaibu also appealed to Coach Finidi George to accept the apologies in good faith as a father.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker has been in the news for the wrong reasons in the past weeks following his outburst against the former coach of the Super Eagles, Finidi George.
The former deputy governor who is a homeboy and a true son of Edo state where Victor Osimhen hailed from said as young boy growing with fame is bound to happen to anyone of his age
He thanked Osimhen for retracting his steps and apologized for his outburst.
“Let me thank my younger brother Victor Osimhen for quickly retracting his steps and apologized to Coach Finidi George. You, also know that Finidi George has paid his dues in this country. So, am appealing to him to forgive Osimhen and excerpt his apologies as a father to them all.
Recently, John Ogbu while speaking to Fans Tribe Podcast, made it clear that Osimhen is a good person but also admitted that he lost control, which could have happened to anyone.
“ I know Osimhen, even in his U17 days, I know him as a good boy, a boy who is respectful, regardless of who you are.
“At the moment when someone accuses you of something, you may lose control.
“Some people need to speak what is on their mind or they can’t sleep.
“He did that, and has he apologised? I am sure he has”, Ogu said.
