Fintiri approves new 70,000 minimum wage for Adamawa civil servants

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has approved the payment of the new minimum wage of N70, 000 to both state and local government workers.
The state labour leaders gave the hint to press men on Monday after an interactive meeting with the governor in Yola.
The labour leaders further revealed that the state government will use the 2019 template in implementing the payment review pending availability of the template from the National wages and salaries Commission.
The payment of the N70k new minimum wage will take effect this month of August 2024.
