Shock as doctors remove multiple metal objects from man’s stomach

In a remarkable medical feat, a team of doctors in East Champaran district, Bihar, successfully extracted an assortment of metal objects from the stomach of a 22-year-old man.

The patient, who had been suffering from severe stomach pain, was rushed to a private hospital in Motihari, where the astonishing discovery was made.

Led by Dr. Amit Kumar, the surgical team performed an emergency operation to remove the foreign objects, which included a key ring, a small knife, and two nail cutters. Further exploration revealed two additional keys, bringing the total number of extracted items to six.

According to Dr. Kumar, the young man had been receiving treatment for mental health issues, and X-ray reports had revealed the presence of multiple metal objects in his stomach. When questioned, the patient confessed to having recently started swallowing metal objects, a disturbing symptom of his underlying condition.

Fortunately, the surgery was a success, and the patient is now recovering well. He will be discharged from the hospital soon, continuing his treatment for mental health issues.
