Portable laments after meeting Peter Obi

Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, professionally known as Portable, has expressed disappointment after a recent encounter with the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In a viral video sighted by our correspondent, Portable, known for his controversial remarks, lamented that despite the meeting, Obi did not offer him any monetary support.
He stated that the situation would have been different with President Bola Tinubu.
In the video, taken in Benin, Edo State, the two were seen exchanging pleasantries after the meeting.
Speaking in Yoruba shortly after greeting Obi, Portable said: “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”
Obi was in Benin to campaign for the Labour Party’s gubernatorial candidate in Edo State, Olumide Akpata, while Portable was in Benin for a show.
