Davido speaks as Cubana Chief Priest gets N10m bail

David Adeleke, Afrobeats star, popularly known as Davido, has reacted as court granted bail to Nigerian businessman, Cubana Chief Priest.
The pondered on how he would have survived if his friend, suffered a jail term of six months like Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky.
He expressed disbelief that the celebrity barman could be jailed for six months for misuse of the nation’s currency.
This followed a response to a post made by Cubana Chief Priest on Instagram.
Cubana Chief Priest had posted on his page after paying a sum of N10 million for alleged naira abuse: “Seeing all your messages and love, I’m so humbled. Now it’s confirmed CP has no small money. Na water.”
The Nation reported that the EFCC had arrested and arraigned the businessman in a notable Nigerian court for alleged naira abuse, but he pleaded not guilty, after which he was granted 10 million naira bail.
Recall of recent, online celebrity Bobrisky was arrested and prosecuted for the same offence, where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 6 months in prison.
Davido rushed to the comment section of his celebrity best friend, the Cubana Chief Priest, using Bobrisky as a case study, he disclosed that it was impossible for him not to see the Cubana Chief Priest for six months.
“I no go see you for 6 months ke…. Never,” He said.
