Kano: Commissioner for special duties arrested over affairs with married woman in uncompleted building

The Kano State Hisbah Board has confirmed the arrest of Auwal Danladi Sankara, Jigawa State Commissioner for Special Duties, after he was found in an uncompleted building with a married woman.
Dr. Abba Sufi, the Director General of the Hisbah Board, verified the commissioner’s apprehension, stating that Sankara was caught on Friday evening.
Hisbah operatives had been closely tracking his movements following repeated complaints from the woman’s husband’s younger brother about illicit activities between Sankara and the woman.
Dr. Sufi said, “Yes, it is true, we have arrested Auwal Danladi Sankara, the Jigawa State Commissioner, along with a married woman in an uncompleted building belonging to him. This operation was a result of careful tracking based on reports we received about his misconduct.”
The arrest has set the social media abuzz, with many awaiting further details about the consequences of this alleged inappropriate relationship. Hisbah’s swift action shows its commitment to enforcing moral and religious values within Kano State.
