Lookman will join top European club – Agent

Agent of Italian-born Nigerian defender Caleb Okoli, Alessandro Barison, expects Ademola Lookman to join a top European club next summer following his sterling performances for Atalanta in the last two seasons.
The Nigeria forward, who finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or, was heavily linked to a few clubs during the last summer transfer window, with his move to PSG only truncated by his Serie A club.
Speaking with OKC on Wednesday, Barison said it was time for the 27-year-old to make the big move.
He said, “I love him. I had the chance to meet him thanks to Okoli, and I can say that he is a very humble guy, and next year he will be the winning card of the Atalanta market.
“Not that the Goddess is any less, but I think that next year he could go and play for some big European team.”
Lookman’s breakout season in 2023-2024 saw him lead Atalanta to Europa League success, scoring a historic hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen and assisting the Super Eagles in reaching the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final in Ivory Coast.
He was voted Atalanta’s Player of the Season for the second consecutive year after registering twenty-seven goal involvements (17 goals, 10 assists) in 45 matches across all competitions.
