Inuwa mourns Umaru Ibrahim

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed his deepest condolences on the demise of Alhaji Umaru Ibrahim who is popularly known as Dan Adda, who died on Monday in Kaduna at the age of 72.
In a message of condolence issued by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe which was made available to Journalists Tuesday, Governor Inuwa Yahaya recalled the late Umaru Dan Adda’s contributions to the state and the nation, as a political figure and through his other services in various capacities including chairmanship and membership of many boards.
The Governor who described the deceased as a philanthropist of note, emphasized Alhaji Umaru’s legacy of kindness and service which earned him respect and admiration.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya, on behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the Sarkin Bai and Ajiyan Gombe families, and through them, all relatives, friends, and associates of the late elder statesman.
He prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus, and give those he left behind, the fortitude to bear the great loss.
As announced by the family, the funeral prayer for the late Alhaji Umaru Dan Adda will take place by 11: am today in Kaduna. END
