Sources within the hierarchy revealed that these officials, including DCGs, ACGs, Comptrollers, and Deputy Comptrollers, failed to go on retirement leave and have continued to report to work, citing that they are waiting for extensions from the Villa.
This situation has severe implications for the organization, creating confusion and disrupting its normal functioning.
Sources further revealed that newly promoted officers are unable to take over their new roles, and the retired officers’ continued presence creates an awkward situation.
