Fire razes popular Masaka market

A large fire has razed the Masaka Market located near the Abuja Keffi expressway in Nasarawa State early Saturday.
The cause of the blaze, which started late Friday and has spread significantly, is unclear.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties.
Heightened security and localized transport and business disruptions are likely in the affected area over the coming hours.
Authorities could evacuate nearby premises as a precaution.
Masaka town is around 6 km (4 miles) west of Abuja.
