VIDEO: Abike Dabiri-Erewa hosts boxing champion, Anthony Joshua

Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, welcomed renowned Nigerian-British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to her Lagos residence on Saturday.
The celebrated athlete, accompanied by his family, paid a courtesy visit to the NiDCOM chief as part of his engagements in Nigeria.
Sharing a video from the memorable visit on her social media page, Dabiri-Erewa lauded Joshua’s exceptional character and humility. She wrote:
“Hosting the champ himself, and members of his family, Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua. A man of unparalleled humility, strength, grace, and character. A champ indeed! A champ forever #ProudlyNigerian.”

Joshua’s visit to Dabiri-Erewa follows his recent stop at President Bola Tinubu’s residence in Lagos, where he presented the president with an autographed boxing glove inscribed, “To the Great Asiwaju Jagaban Borgu of Africa, Bola A. Tinubu.”
The heavyweight champion’s engagements in Nigeria have continued to draw admiration from fans and dignitaries alike, reinforcing his strong ties to his homeland.
