VIDEO: Shock as Lagos commissioner slaps man in public

Toke Benson, the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, has come under fire following a viral video showing her allegedly slapping a man for recording her in public.
The footage, shared by Sahara Reporters, captures a tense moment where Benson, dressed elegantly, directed security personnel to escort someone out of a facility. While issuing instructions, she noticed an unnamed man filming her actions.
In a heated reaction, the commissioner attempted to seize the man’s phone. The confrontation escalated, with Benson reportedly striking the man, who immediately voiced his outrage.
In the video, the man is heard confronting Benson, asking why she slapped him and warning her never to repeat such an action.
