Again! 3 telecom workers killed in Kebbi

The Lakurawa terrorists group killed three telecom workers in a construction site in Gumki village, Arewa Local Government Area, Kebbi State.
This comes barely a week after their deadly attack on two police officers, the group claimed the lives of three telecom workers and one unidentified individual.
The victims, who were reportedly installing a surveillance mast for the Nigeria Immigration Service, met their untimely deaths when the terrorists ambushed the site.
While the police initially reported that the deceased were staff of Airtel, residents identified them as immigration personnel.
According to SP Nafiu Abubakar, the Police Public Relations Officer, four individuals were killed in the attack, including one local and three Airtel staff members.
Following the incident, the Commissioner of Police, CP Bello M. Sani, and the Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service, CIS Muhammad Bashir Lawali, quickly mobilized teams to evacuate the bodies to Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital in Birnin Kebbi.
Authorities have since intensified security in the area, deploying additional tactical teams to confront the bandits and prevent further bloodshed.
In an urgent appeal to the locals, the Commissioner of Police urged residents to collaborate with security agencies by providing vital information to help curb the rising tide of violence in the area.
