Portable laments lack of appreciation in Ogun amid ongoing dispute

Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred reactions online after sharing a cryptic message about feeling unappreciated in Ogun State, his home state.
Taking to Instagram, the singer expressed frustration over what he described as a lack of recognition, advising people not to remain in places where they are not valued.
“I am from Ogun State, but nobody values me or appreciates what I do,” Portable wrote. “Those who know your worth are the ones who appreciate you. Don’t stay in a place where nobody sees your value.”
His post comes amid his ongoing dispute with Ogun State authorities, who recently sealed his bar and an unfinished building. The singer had earlier denied allegations of assaulting government officials, insisting that he was asleep when they arrived.
Portable also accused the authorities of destroying his bar and sealing a property that held deep sentimental value, as it was the site where he buried his mother.
The singer’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some sympathizing with his plight while others criticized his approach to controversies.
