Nigeria celebrates 25 years of Democracy with new documentary film

Nigeria’s Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has partnered with the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation to produce a documentary film titled “Unbroken: Two and a Half Decades.”

This film will chronicle 25 years of uninterrupted democratic governance in Nigeria, highlighting the country’s resilience, progress, and democratic evolution since the inception of the Fourth Republic in 1999.

The documentary aims to showcase Nigeria’s democratic journey, emphasizing the crucial role of IPAC, the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, and various political stakeholders in ensuring democratic sustainability. It will feature prominent Nigerian actors and political leaders, including past and present presidents, policymakers, civil society leaders, and international observers.

“Unbroken: Two and a Half Decades” will explore key milestones, challenges, and successes that have defined Nigeria’s political landscape. Through compelling drama, interviews, archival footage, and expert analyses, the documentary will delve into the political, economic, and social transformations that have shaped modern Nigeria.

The partnership between IPAC and the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation is expected to promote democracy and good governance, inspire political unity and national pride, enhance Nigeria’s international reputation, and educate citizens on the importance of democracy and active participation in the political process.
