Man Utd loanee Antony loving life at Betis

Man Utd loanee Antony spoke after Betis’ victory over Sevilla in the Seville Derby and expressed his gratitude to the Andalusian team.
Brazilian winger Antony dos Santos was “very happy” to win his first Seville derby against Sevilla (2-1) and said that what makes him “happier” is that at Betis he has found himself again, for which he is “very grateful to the whole club and teammates”.
“It has been incredible, all the support from the fans. That is very important for the team. I’m very happy for the three points and also for being able to play alongside Isco, he’s a star and with him on the pitch things come out easier,” the player on loan at Betis from Manchester United told ‘DAZN’.
According to Antony, since his arrival in January to the Andalusian team, he has recovered many of his virtues. “What I am most happy about is that I have found myself, here I found myself, I am enjoying every day of the city, of the club,” he stressed.
Regarding the support of the Betis fans and the atmosphere experienced before and during the derby, the Brazilian striker commented that “the last time” he experienced something like this “was in Brazil, in Sao Paulo”, because on Sunday from his room in the hotel he already felt their support.
“The fans have been incredible, today at the gates of the hotel and at training. That makes us want to play even more”, he stressed.
