Shock as Kogi LG chairman declares curfew amid Natasha homecoming

The Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area in Kogi State, Amoka Monday, has imposed a curfew across the council area, citing security concerns in the wake of the state government’s ban on political rallies and unregulated public gatherings.
In a statement personally signed by the chairman, he emphasized that the curfew was a necessary measure to uphold peace and stability, aligning with directives from the Kogi State Government and the Commissioner of Police.
The decision comes amid heightened political tension following Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s proposed rally in the state. The curfew is expected to restrict movements and gatherings in the area as authorities enforce measures to prevent any potential unrest.
