Olmo in contention for Barcelona’s UCL match

Dani Olmo has been medically cleared after overcoming the muscle injury that had kept him out of action since the end of March.
He will be in Dortmund with his teammates.
Barcelona playmaker Dani Olmo has been given the all-clear on Sunday after suffering a muscle injury on 27 March, meaning he will be available for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final in Dortmund on Tuesday.
The midfielder suffered a myofascial injury in the adductor muscle of his right leg during the match between Barcelona and Osasuna in La Liga EA Sports on 27 March, and has missed the Catalan side’s last five games, which have resulted in four wins and a draw.
Dani Olmo’s return is a major boost for coach Hansi Flick at the most important time of the season, with Barcelona’s Champions League quarter-final second leg on Tuesday and the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid on 26 April, as well as upcoming EA Sports La Liga fixtures against Celta (19 April) and Mallorca (22 April).
The Catalan playmaker’s release contrasts with the absence of full-back Alejandro Balde, who suffered a distal injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg on Saturday, and joins the injured Marc-André ter Stegen, Marc Casadó and Marc Bernal.
Dani Olmo, 26, was Barcelona’s star signing last summer and, despite repeated injuries that have halted his progress, he has made 28 appearances this season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.
