Lewandowski eyes Inter crunch after returning to training

Robert Lewandowski is expected to be part of Barcelona’s matchday squad for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie against Inter Milan after making his comeback to team training on Sunday.
Robert Lewandowski has missed Barcelona’s last four outings across all competitions after being hit with a semitendinosus injury in the 4-3 win over Celta Vigo on April 19.
After being ruled out for the first leg of the Catalans’ Champions League semi-final tie against Inter Milan, the Polish striker is expected to feature for Tuesday’s second leg at the San Siro.
Lewandowski appears to have put his injury behind him, as he made his return to team training earlier on Sunday. He is now set to be part of the travelling squad for the visit to northern Italy.
While the 36-year-old makes his comeback, Barcelona are likely to be without Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde in defence, as they aim to book their place in the final after a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Montjuic.
