Tinubu announces 22 new appointments

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of twenty-two distinguished Nigerians into various strategic positions across federal agencies and institutions.
Among the prominent appointees is Senator Ken Nnamani from Enugu State, who will serve as Chairman of the Nigerian Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
Former Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, has been named Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Sports.
Omobolanle Akinyemi Obe from Ondo State has been appointed Director-General of the National Senior Citizens Centre, Abuja, while Dr. Segun Aina from Osun State takes over as Director-General of the Academic Staff College of Nigeria.
Also appointed is Senator Anyim Pius Anyim from Ebonyi State as Chairman of the National Merit Award Committee, and Hon. (Dr.) Asabe Vilita Bashir from Borno State as Director-General of the National Centre for Women Development.
In a significant boost to the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), Yazid Shehu Umar Danfulani from Zamfara State has been named Managing Director, with Babaranti Ayandayo Rasheed from Osun State and Abubakar Umar Jarengol from Adamawa State serving as Executive Directors for Finance/Admin and Operations/Technical, respectively.

Senator Jalo Zarami (Yobe) and Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu (Nasarawa) as Federal Commissioners, National Population Commission
Hamza Ibrahim Baba (Kano) as Programme Manager, Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP)
Momoh Jibril (Kogi) as Board Member, Federal Mortgage Bank
Abubakar Adamu (Benue) as Executive Secretary, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria
Mohammed Lawal Ibrahim (Kogi) and Abdullahi Mohammed (Katsina) as Executive Directors at the Nigeria–São Tomé Joint Development Authority
Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura (Zamfara) as Director-General, Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre
Comrade Isa Aremu (Kwara) as Director-General, Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies
Barrister Sama’ila Audu (Katsina) as Executive Director, Administration at the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
Dr. Shuaibu Shehu Aliyu (Kaduna) as Executive Secretary, National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education
Professor Musa Garba Mai Tafsiri (Kebbi) and Prof. Almustapha Alhaji Aliyu (Sokoto) as heads of the National Commission for Mass Literacy and NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML), respectively
Ibrahim Shehu Shema (Katsina) as Chairman, Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA)
Engr. Kabir Abdullahi Barkiya (Katsina) as Chairman, Nigerian Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA).
