Mixed reactions trail video of Cubana Chief Priest kneeling to greet Tinubu

Popular nightlife promoter, Cubana Chief Priest, has once again stirred conversation on social media after a video of him kneeling to greet President Bola Ahmed Tinubu surfaced online.
In the now-viral clip, the celebrity barman is seen humbly going on his knees as he exchanges pleasantries with President Tinubu during a visit to his office. The act, which appeared to be a show of deep respect, has divided opinions among Nigerians online.
While some critics accused him of “eye service” and clout-chasing, others defended his gesture, stating that it is normal and culturally acceptable to show such respect when meeting the nation’s number one citizen.

This is not the first time Cubana Chief Priest’s public gestures towards political figures have drawn attention. Just a few days ago, he trended for kneeling to greet Vice President Kashim Shettima, which also generated backlash from netizens who questioned his intentions.
As reactions continue to pour in, the celebrity businessman has yet to respond publicly to the latest criticism.
