Transfer: Wirtz only wants Liverpool amid €100m offer
The Premier League Champion Liverpool have submitted an official offer worth over €100 million for Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz, with add-ons included in the package.
According to reports, negotiations between the two clubs have resumed and are expected to gather pace as both sides work towards sealing the deal.
Wirtz, 22, has made it clear to Leverkusen that his preferred destination is Anfield. The German midfielder, who has been a central figure in Leverkusen’s recent Bundesliga successes, is keen to link up with Arne Slot’s side, with personal terms not expected to pose a problem.
