Portable fails to satisfy bail terms – Police

Popular controversial musician, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, continues to be held by the police as he hasn’t fulfilled the conditions necessary for his release on bail.
Portable was apprehended after allegedly failing to settle a ₦14 million debt related to the purchase of a G-Wagon from a car dealer in Lagos State.
Benjamin Hudenyin, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, clarified that the singer will remain detained until he can provide a trustworthy guarantor who meets the bail requirements.
“He has not yet provided a reliable surety, so he (Portable) remains in our custody,” Hundeyin stated.
