Alexander Arnold agrees Real Madrid’s deal

Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, has reached an agreement with Los Blancos to join their project.
The English defender will arrive in Madrid on 1 July on a free transfer and will sign a contract for the next five seasons.
Alexander-Arnold, one of the most important players in the Reds’ squad, has already taken the definitive step towards a move to Madrid.
The information from journalist Sacha Tavolieri in “Sky Sport Switzerland” indicates that the player has reached an agreement with Los Merengues to join the project for the next five seasons, starting on 1 July.
The same source also indicates that the British player, who was paid 11 million euros on Merseyside, will now earn around 15 million euros gross per season, to which must be added the signing-on bonus and a performance related bonus.
Approaches between the parties involved have increased in recent weeks, leading to a conclusive agreement being reached. A move that has put Liverpool, who have tried on multiple occasions to reopen negotiations with Alexander-Arnold in an attempt to keep him on.
It seems that everything is now more than closed in the case of the British full-back, who will leave the Reds this summer after a lifetime with the club (since 2004), 9 years of which have been spent as a member of the first team.
Real Madrid, in the midst of the fight for all competitions and with the Club World Cup on the horizon, are already rubbing their hands with the arrival of Alexander-Arnold, who will reinforce a position that has been severely depleted by the loss of Carvajal.
