Assassins Kill APC leader, businessman in Delta


Unidentified assailants has killed All Progressive Congress (APC) leader and community leader in Issele-Azagba, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The incident, happened on Tuesday night before the man close from the office located at the entrance to the town, within the State Capital Territory on the Benin-Asaba highway.
The evil act was discovered on Wednesday morning when relatives of the APC leader, came inquiring from neighbours within the business promises about the elderly man as he was reportedly not seen at his residence inside the town.
It was reported that the lifeless body of Mr. Paul Offor was found lying in the office, where he did his POS and real estate services as well.
He was reportedly stabbed to death and his office door shut against him without rescue coming to him, probably because neighbours in the business premises generally believed that he had closed for the day and gone home as he often worked alone.
His shocking death generated pandemonium in the area on Wednesday morning as many people from the town joined the crowd that had gathered in front of the office to catch a glimpse of the horrible sight of the slain man.
Policemen later arrived at the scene and eventually evacuated the remains of the mam to the mortuary.
Several calls were put across to the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Bright Edafe, but did not answer to give detailed information on the gruesome killing.
Mr.Offor was, until his shocking death was an amiable personality and a local leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aniocha North Local Government Area, a devout Christian and member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Issele-Azagba.
