Bauchi: Bala appoints new SSG, private secretary

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has approved the appointment of Aminu Hammayo as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Hammayo’s appointment followed the resignation of the former SSG, Ibrahim Kashim, who is a close associate of Governor Bala.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado disclosed this in a statement made available to Journalists on Friday in Bauchi and explained that before his new appointment, Hammayo was the Commissioner for Budget, Economic Planning and Multilateral Coordination.
The statement also disclosed that Governor Bala approved the appointment of Hashimu Kumbala as his new Principal Private Secretary.
According to the spokesman, these appointments reflect Governor Mohammed’s commitment to effective governance and his vision for a more inclusive and progressive administration.
