Brazil will play like prime Real Madrid – Ancelloti

Carlo Ancelotti is already speaking as the new Brazilian coach. He closes the Real Madrid cycle, but without forgetting it.
He hopes to recover the ‘Selecao’s competitive and winning spirit ahead of the next World Cup.
Just a few days ago he said goodbye to the Santiago Bernabeu, but Carlo Ancelotti is not resting and is already starting to work as Brazilian coach. He attended one of Botafogo’s Copa Libertadores matches and is beginning to adapt to a new life, as he confesses in his interview to ‘Marca’. With hints of his time as a Madrid coach, he wants to transfer the methodology that worked for him at the Spanish side to a Brazil that is looking for a resurgence with him.
“Brazil is the best team in the world. I’m not saying it myself, the five stars on their jersey say it. No other team can match them. Now I have the challenge of getting the sixth. Italy? A friend of mine, Spalletti, is now in charge. He didn’t call me -Italy-, something Brazil did a long time ago. I fully assume the challenge of bringing the sixth World Cup, but we need the whole country to be on our side,” he said.
The first rejection of Brazil and the change of heart: “My priority has always been Madrid. In the first approach, the club offered me a contract renewal and there was no doubt about it. I have always said that I was going to stay at Madrid as long as I could. After that? The results have not been as expected and the team’s play was not good. It was time to do something and after the week against Arsenal we talked about it and decided.”
“I have had a lot of relationship with Brazilian players. I have managed many and with all of them I have learned many things. Ronaldo, Cafu, Kaka, my players at Madrid. It’s a different kind of football and that’s what the national team has to be again. My Brazil is going to play like Madrid, but not like this year’s team, but like last year’s. That’s what I want,” he added.
And he closed with what he has experienced as a ‘Madridista’: “The city has treated me wonderfully, I feel it as my own. The respect I have felt every day has been special. There is nothing like Madrid. Milan was also special, but I think it’s impossible to experience what I did at Madrid with any other team. The three finals, those matches, the Bernabeu…”.
