Breaking: Another plane crash-lands in Lagos


An aircraft operated by XEJET Airlines has crashed landed in Lagos.
The plane veered off the runway and coming to rest in the grass.
This is coming less than two weeks after Dana Air also crashed landed at Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
The Airbus, bearing registration 5N-BZZ and carrying 52 passengers, had departed from Abuja and arrived in Lagos at 11:29 am.
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau has confirmed the incident, stating that the XEJET Airlines aircraft skidded off the runway at the domestic wing of Murtala Muhammed Airport.
Further details on the incident are expected to be released shortly.
